When I got my computer I purchased the McAfee Firewall Plus and VirusScan with it. It came with a CD that I uploaded to my computer and then I had the Personal Firewall Plus and VirusScan working fine. But now it says,0 days left!Your Anti-Hacker Protection Has Expired!

I would like someone to explain how my anti-hacker protection has expired, meaning for some reason the Firewall and not the VirusScan, if I bought the software and downloaded it to my computer?

I am trying to create a wireless network with a D-Link DIR-615. Everything was working fine at one point during the installation, until I got to a point where the installer checked the internet connection while the router was connected. I got an error 104, saying I had to disable the Norton Firewall. Now, I can’t disable the firewall in Norton, because I have Norton 2007. I remember in the 2006 edition, you could do it, but now, you can’t. I’ve tried to turn off Norton completely, but I can’t figure out how to do it with Task Manager. Can anyone help me?

I am setting up a DSL modem for a friend running Windows 2000 Professional and when i attempt to install the software off the CD that came with the DSL Modem, it prompts me to disable the firewall on the Operating System. I have looked in the control panel but the option isnt there. I need help.

My macbook pro cannot to internet with my linksys router so i decided to purchase airport extreme, now can i disable the wireless broadcast of old router and bridge it with airport extreme base station? My main purpose is to use the old router as stealth firewall because airport extreme can only keep the ports closed not stealth it.

I have DSL and it says it will take 10 hours or more. I can’t disable Norton Antivirus firewall and have tried to find disable windows but it’s all locked up or something. Don’t say close out all windows because it doesn’t work for me, or start-run-msconfig because it is not my computer and we just had a virus problem we recently got rid of.

I am currently using AVG Internet Security 7.5’s firewall.
I have read that it does not have a the greatest firewall though.
Is Zone Alarm Pro’s Firewall better in terms of protection for my PC?
Is my PC secure with the programs I am running?
