My university places a firewall on its internet connection and so I am unable to download anything from the internet since I live in the dorms. Is there anyway to bypass this firewall?

Not if the Admins knoiw what they are doing. by not download anything I will assume you mean using Limewire and other P2P’s .

Also trying to do so very will is a violation of your user rights and could result in termination of access, fines, etc.
