i just got connected to an internet through my school, and i keep getting disconnected because the school sends out pings to see avaliablity and apparantly my firewall is blocking them. any suggestions?

    firewalls by default do not typically block ICMP or ping traffic unless you have told it to do so. is this in a dorm? i would contact their sysadmin. you probably don’t have the proper gateway/subnet information.
