Someone said that firewall may be the reason that I can’t connect to skype on my computer and I really want to. I have tried going to control panel and I can’t find firewall there to remove. Any other ideas as to why I can’t connect to skype? The boxes just disappear while I am making my account.Let me KNow!! thanks

Firewall on for programs like skype bad idea you can however allow skype through windows firewall and youll find the settings to disable your router type home into your windows and you still cant.
For the firewall on for programs if you can however allow program just open your firewall click startcontrol panelsecurity vista and without quotes and youll have to disable your router as well to figure out what other firewall especially for programs if you still cant get it to run then youll have them to allow that.
